The momentum continues to build for hks188 CCE South East Asia Thailand 2016 as the Thai Pulp and Paper Industries Association (TPPIA) is the latest organisation to confirm its strong support for the region’s event dedicated to the corrugated and folding carton industry. The exhibition will make its debut in South East Asia at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center from September 21-23 this year.
TPPIA president, Montri Mahaplerkpong said: “We welcome and congratulate Mack Brooks Exhibitions Asia Ltd. in bringing CCE South East Asia – Thailand 2016 to Bangkok. The growth rate of the corrugated packaging industry seen over the past five years has resulted in an increase in paper consumption and is now booming. The changing consumer behaviour affects sectors such as Food & Beverage, Automotive Manufacturing and Pharmaceuticals, and creates a demand that needs to be met by the paper and cardboard industries.”
Confirmation of the support from the TPPIA comes in addition suppliers that have booked exhibition space on the show floor to demonstrate their equipment. Organisations such as Bobst, TCY, British Converting Solutions and Sansin are committed to display their expertise to the industry in South East Asia.
The show will act as a meeting place for suppliers and buyers of corrugated and folding carton machinery. Demand in the ASEAN region is growing and there is a need in the industry for enhanced solutions to improve the efficiency of the production process.
Senior Manager of CCE South East Asia, Kanokwara Anutarawatr stated: “The CCE South East Asia exhibition is set to become the must attend event in 2016 for the region’s corrugated and folding carton industry. CCE South East Asia will present the latest equipment and systems for the corrugated and folding carton industry to meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions in South East Asia.”
The support from TPPIA complements the official support already given by the Thai Corrugated Packaging association (TCPA) as well as the Thai Screen and Print Graphics Association (TSGA).
The co-operation demonstrates CCE South East Asia’s commitment to establish Thailand as the focal point for the Corrugated and Folding Carton Market in South East Asia. Thailand is the hub of production in the region which sees the full supply chain from the beginning of Paper Producing to the end of Corrugated Packaging.
